World Premiere in LondonThe world premiere will be on Monday 1 December, 2014 at the ODEON, Leicester Square, London. Cast and collaborators from both The Hobbitand The Lord of the Rings trilogies will be there including Ian McKellen (Gandalf), Richard Armitage (Thorin), Martin Freeman (Bilbo), Orlando Bloom (Legolas), Evangeline Lilly (Tauriel), Lee Pace (Thranduil) and Luke Evans (Bard).
Others attending according to Be the Red Carpet are Aidan Turner, Benedict Cumberbatch, Andy Serkis, Stephen Fry, Sylvester McCoy, Mikael Persbrandt, Ryan Gage, John Bell, Ken Stott, James Nesbitt, Adam Brown, Jed Brophy and Billy Boyd.

Warner Brothers are running a competition for tickets to the world premiere. Details are still to be announced.

French PremiereThe French premiere will be at the Le Grand Rexin Paris on Thursday 4 December, 2014. Guests include director Peter Jackson along with Martin Freeman (Bilbo) and Richard Armitage (Thorin). Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 19 November at 10 am.
Canadian PremiereToronto will host the Canadian premiere on Saturday 6 December. Details for this are still scarce although there are several competitions to win tickets for the premiere and these mention a red carpet event. (The Hobbit premiere in 2012 was at Scotiabank theatre.)

Mexican PremiereWarner Brothers Mexico have announced that Luke Evans (Bard) and Evangeline Lilly (Tauriel) will be guests at the premiere at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City 0n 6 December, 2014
Brazilian ScreeningRichard Armitage (Thorin) will introduce a screening of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies at Comic Con Experience, São Paulo, on 7 December, 2014 at 10.30 am. Tickets are available from Comic Con Experience.
US PremieresThere are rumours of premieres in New York (8 December) and Los Angeles (9 December) but no official announcement has been made by Warner Brothers.
The Hobbit: BOTFA opens in cinemas in the UK on 12 December and in the US on 17 December, 2014.
