imageIt was my pleasure to do an interview with Squire, one of the contributors of the J.R.R. Tolkien Encyclopedia and also the man behind the J. R. R. Tolkien Encyclopedia - A Reader's Diary. It seems most people expected the J.R.R. Tolkien Encyclopedia to be something 'more' for such a lot of money. Still, I believe the project was a good one, and so do many people. Especially the on line community has now taken over the project and is starting to turn the book into a very usefull unit after all. There are some interesting projects, of which the J. R. R. Tolkien Encyclopedia - A Reader's Diary is by far the most interesting contribution so far..> Read full article:Interview with Squire a contributor to the J.R.R. It seems a lot of people are very excited about the new Tolkien book and all want to know so many things about it! So I send some questions to HarperCollins and made it into THE CHILDREN OF HURIN FAQ.

Alan Lee illustrated the Children of Hurin and also the cover image is by his hand. While the editor Christopher Tolkien will not do any signings, Alan Lee will be signing the book at different locations.

It is my pleasure to bring you this interview with James Dunning. His art is featured in A Tolkienian Mathomium by Mark T. Hooker. The Artist James Dunning has read and digested Tolkiens various works for forty years and has constructed evolving mental landscapes of scenes in Middle-earth. He has tried to depict Tolkien themes presented here in a style consistent with J.R.R. Tolkiens own illustrative style.
